Somehow the player was playing this on top of Signifying Monkey and things got rather weird. Super funky on it's own for certain though. Reminds me of KC again, but with the New Orleans band "Galactic" in equal measure, and yet it's pure Al. Slick, sick track guys! :)

Love that meaty rick bass, Wow!! Nice mixing job with well-panned instrumentation. Sax solo is great, as are the others. Reminds me of King Crimson's "Sex, Sleep, Eat, Drink, Dream" period. Don't know why -just does. Awesome part changes in this tune. Great production. Yeah!!!

Nice groove with B3 and rythmguitar. Very very cool guitartheme at 2.44 mark! Love it. And the sax is outstanding. Also like the vocal-arrangements.

I turn up on your page for lessons on how to create the perfect track. The vibe and sound just blows me away every time. I particularly like funky upbeat tracks, I find them so uplifting. That sax...amazing...and those keys!! Got my headphones on to pick up all the subtle extras...fantastic mix and production. Yep...this is how it should be done!

Some very fine choppy sounds bass caught my attention straight away you come up with amazing ideas. Avery positive groove in every sense of the word love the guitar and keys, then the sax!! Brilliant all round a masterful collab. :)

Yeah, lots of energy thrown into the world, in a mixture of Funk, Rock and Pop (I hear Disco influences too).
It reminds me very much to the 80's, when those three components were there in popular music. I think the sound of the synth you use is also typical of that time.
It makes me wanting to dance. I especial like the way you both go completely crazy from 3:40 on with attractive inter-action with marvelous solo's.

WOW, listening to the "8 Track Slacker" I thought this one cannot be topped.... wrong, it can!!! The proof is "Quantizing E", man, my ears were lost in a hot shower of sounds-music-rythm-key changes-lead parts-breaks......
Impossible to mention all of the fine details you and and JR put on this trak in this comment, wish only to remark additonally that this production is so great (mix&mastering), a fantastic work, and I have to think back what Kathy Reynolds wrote me in her last message: " Great if one can wear both production- and composer-hat...." Al surely does it with perfection!!!WOW!! :)

This is just bursting with energy! You guys sound like a great band! The bass just kicks "A" and really stands out from the start while driving this funky groove. Love the key changes and breaks too. Jr's guitar solos are killer and the Hammond just sounds excellent when it drops in. Your sax solo adds the final tasty icing on the cake! I think the vocal touches add so much. There is so much going in this it is hard to cram everything I like in one comment but it is simply superb music from a couple of fine musicians!!!
Funky goodness everywhere! Hell yeah!
