Born some moons ago, always loved writing and drawing sice i was a kid and have written songs since i was 13, over the years since i have recorded on everything from little tape decks to nowadays my yammy n12. Eventually got brave and released some of my efforts at music onto the internet in 2007 followed a year later by a debut nerve shredding live performance of some of my tunes and a few quirky covers.

Story behind the song
The E minor with no name is one of my favorite ever tunes of my own and if asked by anyone to describe my sound, this would be the tune i would say is the closest to my musical vision, the weaving of beatle bits, a morricone style running commentary on acoustic, with blues, pop and rock influences all (hopefully) coming together and building up throughout. The recording itself is not my best musical performance by any means but i think it hangs together quite well, and lyrically it's one of my favorites, taking on an almost hymn like mantra through the verses and ending up with the final statement "i'ts so good to see you smiling, so let's keep it that way" which someone spookily said to me at work not long after i had written the song in late 2006!!. Another note of this song is that it has my favorite ever drum loop!!, so simple but so effective (and in waltz time aswell which is cool to play to!), the first time i used it on a song called "sad song" that went to 7mins plus and this one could have been a lot longer too had i used all the verses i wrote and finished it off with the huge solo i originally planned!.
Lyrics
The Eminor With No Name (words and music by Warren Jenks) copyright 2006 Warren Jenks As I face another day I still refuse to pray that good tidings come my way. As I look towards the Sky Watch my life drifting by, I shall keep no regrets. Lose the condition of terminal suspicion and the future shall shine on your side Remove the troubles that constantly hang over you There is no more need to cry. As I head towards the light that is calling bright, no fear shall stand in my way As I stand silently by, and watch them eat my pride and dismiss my very name again. Drop those beliefs that cause you grief and the lift that you get will bring back your smile tear down all sense of dread and look ahead and any path of doubt will dissapear. As I take on another fight, that seems so right I don't care if i fall and hit my head As the day end nears, I wipe away my tears and look forward to start again With visions of Joyful laughter that bring me sunshine everyday that look is beguiling, it's so good to see you smiling so let's keep it that way. let's keep it that way (to fade)
