Reflecting on how we got where we are at
acoustic christianrock
Artist picture
Ive written hundreds of songs over the past 40 years. I love Jesus, the word of God, people and music. I play guitar, bass and sing. Thank you for listening!
My music is about the new life found in Jesus Christ. He is our access to the Father and is worthy of all praise and glory. He has taken our sins away by the selfless sacrifice of His death upon the cross. He is deserving of songs and worship. The sound of my music is influenced by the delta blues and artists that have followed through the 60s and 70s who have taken this music and written folk, Americana, and Rock n Roll. Thank you for listening to my songs, and also the collaboration projects, thank you to all who contributed to these songs..

Lyrics
Lost At Sea - 170310 How did we find ourselves so lost at sea Are we just off by one degree Did we leave the captain standing on the shore We sailed away and shut the door Had no time for the plotting of the corse Had no time to listen to His voice Had no time for the One that is The Way We plugged our ears could not hear what He did say Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved How can I get back to that love that once was new To that faith as a child before I grew Into a man lost in what I do Draw near to God and He will draw near to you Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved How did we find ourselves so lost at sea Are we just off by one degree Did we leave the captain standing on the shore We sailed away and shut the door Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Its not God who moved Copyright John Matteson All rights reserved Photo by Mikhael Mayim from Pexels: https://www.pexels.com/photo/ocean-ripples-in-close-up-photography-13802232/
