Story behind the song
I've always been fascinated by the tragic tale of the RMS Titanic, and with the 100 year anniversary of the sinking now upon us in 2012, i decided to write a tune and also a few poems about it. This song is really about the sad fact that whatever beauty mankind can create to astound, the flip side comes with the fact that usually it ends up in the hands of idiots who destroy it and usually as in this case take innocent victims in doing so. Thankfully serious and lasting changes for the better came about from the sinking of the "unsinkable", but what a crime it always will be, is that over 1500 people on board full of joy, hopes and aspirations had to be the price.
